Files and data encrypted when in transit and at rest (when written to disk) as specified by HIPAA
Firm computers use full disk encryption
Web-based Software-as-a-Service applications utilize encrypted connections with SSL
Cloud based file storage systems meet Service Organization Controls (SOC) compliance
Credit card information is stored and used in accordance with PCI compliance
Passwords are stored in password management software
Individual user account passwords are not shared
Files and secure messages exchanged between clients and the firm utilize a secure portal
Access to systems is granted following the Principle of Least Privilege
Changes to files and information stored in databases is versioned
Information Technology is handled in-house by a veteran of legal industry technology, software and data management
Vendors do not have access to client or firm data
Only applications and integrations meeting the highest security standards are approved for firm use
Web-based software and firm computers are protected by firewalls
Data is encrypted prior to being uploaded to encrypted cloud based storage
Encrypted data backups are stored in a geo-redundant fashion and only in the United States
