Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Lisa grew up in the Folsom area and always dreamed of working in the legal field. She first began working in the legal field while attending California State University, Sacramento. She graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in English Literature in 2003. Wanting to continue her education, she attended law school at night while working as a paralegal in the employment law field. Lisa graduated from Lincoln Law School in 2008, earning a J.D. degree. During law school, Lisa was president of the Federalist Society and helped mentor young students. Lisa worked for the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office for two years before moving to real estate and transactional law.
Kellyann did not grow up with aspirations to work in the legal field. But here she is, and she has found it to be a very rewarding career choice. Kellyann began her legal career as a file clerk in 2008 at a boutique law firm in Sacramento shortly after graduating from Sonoma State University with a B.A. degree in Communications. It was a surprise to her how much she enjoyed working with legal assistants and attorneys to provide exceptional client service. It became her motto “what can I do to help you help our client?” Ten years later, several of those years working closely with Heather and Meighan, Kellyann has grown as a capable paralegal and is an integral part of the client-service oriented team at Sapphire Law Group.
