Welcome to Sapphire Law Group!
The first step in the estate planing process is to schedule your Initial Consultation (not the step you are at? Click Here).
Here is what you need to know and to do to prepare for your Initial Consultation:
-
If you have not scheduled your complimentary initial consultation, please refer to the link in your email to book your consultation online, or you may email, text or call our office and one of our friendly team members would be happy to schedule this for you.
Once scheduled, ensure you have added your Initial Consultation to your calendar.
We will be meeting via Zoom unless you have specifically confirmed otherwise. When the time comes for your appointment, follow the link in the calendar event you received by email to join the meeting.
Please write down any questions you have so that we can address them during the meeting.
-
Prior to your your Initial Consultation, we ask that you complete the “About You” section of our online Confidential Estate Planning Questionnaire. You only need to provide some basic information prior to your Initial Consultation. Completing this information does not make you a client of Sapphire Law Group, or obligate you to move forward. We would, of course, love it if you do. Instead, completion of this information allows us to have a more productive discussion, including by introducing you to the information that we will eventually ask you to complete in the balance of the questionnaire. To create an account, use the following link (if you already have an account, Click Here):
Confidential Estate Planning Questionnaire
Once you have submitted the “About You” section (by using the “Submit to Attorney” button at the end), you will have the opportunity to complete additional sections at any time before or after your Design Appointment. There is no need to use “Submit to Attorney” button at the end of the questionnaire when you make subsequent changes, as all additional information you provide will automatically be saved.
-
If you want to be an “A+” client (and we know you do!), review any handouts that we sent to you prior to your Initial Consultation. We find that many individuals or couples have given thought to “who should inherit their estate” upon their death, but it is also helpful (and sometimes overlooked) to begin to think about how you would like to make decisions for you if you cannot make them yourself (incapacity), or upon your death. These decisions do NOT need to be made before your Initial Consultation, but thinking about them can help us have a more productive and helpful discussion.
